The cake cupboard
The cake cupboard is open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10am until 9pm (or sell out). The menu changes every weekend and usually includes brownies, blondies, cookies and cake. It is a self serve, honesty based cake cupboard, you come and help yourself and can pay by BACS, Cash (no change given) or by scanning a QR code inside the cupboard. Please pay before leaving. If you’re in the Nottinghamshire area, why not call in and treat yourself.

If you’re walking along Hallcroft Road from Retford town centre, walk to the new Coop Store and turn left onto Cherry Holt, we’re about 100yards along the road on the right hand side in the detached Dorma bungalow. The cake cupboard is mounted on the exterior wall, on the driveway side of the house. There is CCTV on the house and inside the cake cupboard to ensure everybody’s safety.

The cake cupboard menu is shared on my social media channels on a Wednesday, and includes cookies, brownies, blondies, cake and other popular items (like Crevice Cake!). No two weeks are the same, although some things feature regularly because they’re so popular! The gallery below is a sample of what’s available.
My mail order bakes are uploaded to the website shop every Friday at 7pm. The menu is slightly different to the cake cupboard as not all of my bakes are suitable for posting unfortunately.
