Bassetlaw DC have now made a U-turn on the Street Traders Licence. It's only a pause, and will be reconsidered in June. Fingers crossed they've seen sense and make the change permanent!

Sadly I am no longer able to open the cake cupboard as my local council (Bassetlaw District Council) require:
- A Street Traders Licence (£1007 p/year)
- Commercial Waste Collection service (£522 p/year)
- Planning Permission (£610 for the application)
- Criminal record check (£21.50)
On top of the Public Liability Insurance, Busness home Insurance, and Level 2 food hygience certificate I already have.

If you’re walking along Hallcroft Road from Retford town centre, walk to the new Coop Store and turn left onto Cherry Holt, we’re about 100yards along the road on the right hand side in the detached Dorma bungalow. Please be aware that CCTV recordering is taking place to ensure everybody’s safety.
