FAQ
When can I order from you?
The website is stocked every Friday at 12:00pm. There is a limited number of items added so they are sold on a first come first served basis. Items are then freshly baked on a Monday & Tuesday and dispatched no later than Wednesday
When will my order be posted?
I make everything to order, from scratch. Shipping day is Wednesday (for a Friday delivery).
Orders received between 12:01pm Friday and 08-.00am Monday will be dispatched on Wednesday (sometimes Tuesday if it’s quiet).
Who delivers them?
I use DPD’s next day delivery service (48hrs for Northern Ireland and 48-72hours for Scottish Highlands, Outer Hebrides and Jersey & Guernsey).
DPD will she you text and email alerts, and a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. So it is important you provide contact details when prompted at the checkout.
Please note: refunds are not given for delayed parcels.
Is weekend delivery available?
No, unfortunately not. Dispatch is usually Tuesday or Wednesday so parcels will be delivered on Thursday or Friday.
Can I organise a specific delivery day?
No, unfortunately I do all the baking, packaging and posting myself plus I have the cake cupboard to bake for so I just don’t have the capacity sorry.
Do I have to be at home to receive my order?
Ideally yes, but I do understand that’s not always possible. Through the link the courier sends you, you can designate a neighbour or a safe space where the parcel can be left.
Can you write a gift note?
Yes of course I can, but please be concise! I have cakes to make and brownies to slice!!
Do you ship outside the UK?
Unfortunately no. Sorry.
Can I pay with Apple Pay?
Yes you can. Please make sure that the delivery address in your Apple Pay matches the delivery address you want the goods to go to.

Are they vegetarian?
Most of them are yes, but please check the ingredients list on the allergens page, and also the information on the product page.
What is the shelf life?
The blondies and brownies will last at room temperature for a week (unless the weather is hot or you leave them in direct sunlight). For best results, keep them in the fridge where they will last for up to 10 days or freeze them in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
How big are your bakes?
This depends but most of the tray bakes are 6cm x 10cm. Cookies are 120g+ each when they are raw, so it depends on baking time and humidity.
Do they contain any allergens?
Yes. Please see the allergens page for more information along with the product page.
Are your bakes nut free?
No, some of the bakes contain peanuts or hazelnuts etc. Even though a lot of the bakes don’t contain nuts, they are made in a small kitchen so there’s always the possibility of an item containing nut traces.
Do your bakes contain alcohol?
No. There may be a time when an odd splash of alcohol will grace a sherry trifle, but I’d never put alcohol in anything without you knowing.
I’ve changed my mind on my order, can I have a refund?
In a nutshell, no. Perishable items aren’t covered under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, so after the items have been posted you cannot change your mind.
